Head Mount

Commonly refer to as “Hockey Pucks” due to their shape, head-mount temperature are small disc shaped transmitters that are often mounted within a connection head. The connection head is usually attached directly to the sensor; but, can be located remotely. There are several different styles on the market. Yokogawa’s head-mount transmitters are DIN B compliant. The DIN B defines the general dimensions of the transmitter.

YTA70

Like the YTA50, the YTA70 is a 2-wire analog temperature transmitter that outputs a simple 4 to 20 mA output that corresponds to the temperature measured. However, it adds HART 5 (Code -E) or selectable HART 5 or HART 7 (Code -J) digital communication.

The YTA70 delivers all the benefits found in the YTA50 while adding HART digital protocol communication. The HART protocol allows you to conveniently configue the transmitter using the latest FDT/DTM technology. The YTA70 is the choice for all your control applications.

YTA70 features include:

  • 4 to 20 mA DC Analog Output
  • HART 5 Digital Protocol Output (-E version)
  • Selectable HART 5 / 7 Digital Protocol Output (-J version)
  • 17 Input Types
  • Head Mount or DIN Rail Mount

YTA50

The YTA50 is a 2-wire analog temperature transmitter that outputs a simple 4 to 20 mA output that corresponds to the temperature measured.

The YTA50 is a head mount temperature transmitter with a single input. The single input accepts thermocouples, RTD, Ohms or a DC millivolt source. All inputs are linearized and converted in to an industrial standard 4 to 20 mA DC output for transmission to your system. YTA50 is the choice for your monitoring applications.

YTA50 features include:

  • 4 to 20 mA DC analog output
  • 16 Input Types
  • Head Mount or DIN Rail Mount
